Nikitin: CSKA Must Apologise to Fans After Admiral Loss
CSKA Moscow coach Igor Nikitin said the team must return to reality and apologise to supporters after a 2:4 home defeat to Admiral.
Igor Nikitin said CSKA Moscow have to come back down to earth after a 2:4 defeat to Admiral, and that the club owes its supporters an apology.
"What comments can there be... We need to apologise to the fans who came to the stands. The sooner we come back down to earth, the better it is for us," Nikitin said.
Asked why his side keeps repeating last season's mistakes in attitude and complacency, the CSKA coach turned to psychology.
"Human psychology is a process that is forever being studied. People tend to repeat their mistakes if they don't draw conclusions. The hardest thing anyone can do is the simple things – to assess who you are, what you need. We still have problems with that," he said.
