Alexander Radulov opened the scoring in Yaroslavl on the 7th minute. Joshua Livo levelled for the visitors on the 24th, but Artem Kuzin restored Lokomotiv's lead on the 38th and settled the match.
Avangard sit seventh in the Eastern Conference on six points.
Daniil Orlov put the Moscow side ahead on the 16th minute, Nathan Legare equalised for Traktor, and Daniil Gutik restruck for Spartak on the 53rd before Daniil Pivchulin settled that game on the 60th.
