Former Toronto forward Nick Robertson impressed Pittsburgh's coaches in three camp sessions alongside Sidney Crosby and Rickard Rakell, but nothing is decided.
Nick Robertson, the former Toronto forward, took part in the first three training-camp sessions of the Pittsburgh Penguins on a line with Sidney Crosby and Rickard Rakell.
According to PensBurgh, he impressed the coaching staff. In one drill he scored, and head coach Dan Muse congratulated him. He then set up another dangerous chance for Crosby.
For now this is a practice pairing only. No decision has been made on whether Robertson will open the regular season on the first line.
