Pavel Bure's Ex-Wife Alina Explains Divorce Reasons

Alina, the former wife of ex-NHL forward Pavel Bure, has given her account of why the marriage ended. The marriage ended in June after Alina cited lies and betrayal.

The couple have three children: Pavel, born in 2013, Palina, born in 2015, and Anastasia, born in 2018. Palina takes her name from both of them. When asked about co-parenting visits, Alina said: "All communication goes through lawyers. The children see him whenever they want."

She described her own situation as settled. "On the whole I'm well, thank you. I'm completely comfortable on my own with the children. I'm trying to heal my wounds. It's not easy, of course, to start trusting again." Asked whether Bure supports her financially, she was blunt: "Not at all!"

One follower asked about reports that Bure has long been in another relationship and has a child from it. Alina declined to confirm or deny it: "I think that question should be put to that person!" On being asked whether life without a partner is hard, she replied: "I've been a year without a man, and I'm managing fine!"

She was also asked whether many people had distanced themselves from her since the divorce. "Many!" she wrote. "It was a sieve — everyone showed their true colours. Thank you to them for that experience!"
