Sibir Release Forward Pavel Tkachenko
The Novosibirsk KHL club parted ways with the 29-year-old, a product of its own academy, who had not played a single KHL game this season.
Sibir have terminated the contract of forward Pavel Tkachenko by mutual agreement, the Novosibirsk club's press service has confirmed.
Tkachenko is a product of Sibir's own system. This season he had not appeared for the KHL side at all, instead turning out three times for Dinamo-Altai in the VHL, with 2 (1+1) points. Dinamo-Altai, founded in 2019 and based at the 4,281-capacity MSK Titov Arena, sit 10th in the VHL table with zero points from three games.
He has played 104 KHL games, all with Sibir and Spartak, for 11 (6+5) points. Last season he made 12 appearances for Sibir in the regular season and play-offs combined without registering a goal or an assist. He has 184 points (87 goals, 97 assists) in 354 VHL games.
