Haukeland Speaks Russian After Traktor Win

Henrik Haukeland spoke Russian in the dressing room at Traktor after being named the best player in a 2:1 win over Avangard.
The 31-year-old Norwegian goalkeeper made 21 saves from 22 shots. It was his first win in the KHL. The award, voted by teammates, was handed to him by defenceman Grigori Dronov, and Haukeland responded with a short speech in Russian, filmed for the club's VKontakte account.
Traktor signed Haukeland on 23 June on a two-year deal. He had spoken before about prejudices in the West regarding Russia.
