Tretiak, Fetisov and Aksenenko Win Duma Seats
Three former hockey players — Vladislav Tretiak, Vyacheslav Fetisov and Alexander Aksenenko — have won single-mandate seats in Russia's State Duma elections.

Aksenenko, a former defenceman for Sibir, SKA, Novokuznetsk's Metallurg, Amur and Avtomobilist, has extended his own mandate. He polled 45.79% in the Iskitim constituency No.139 in the Novosibirsk Region, representing A Just Russia. The State Duma elections ran from 18 to 20 September.
