The NHL has merged the statistics of the two Winnipeg Jets franchises. The league combined the records of the original club, which played in Winnipeg from 1979 to 1996, with those of the current team, founded in 2011.
Dale Hawerchuk now leads the Jets' all-time lists for goals (379) and points (929). Thomas Steen holds the assists record with 553.
The current franchise's numbers already included its years as the Atlanta Thrashers, from 1999 to 2011. The original Jets moved to Arizona in 1996. The league said the Arizona Coyotes' record, covering 1996 to 2024, will stay separate and will not form part of the Jets' history.
Mark Scheifele is second on the goals and points lists, with 907 points (372+535) in 961 games. In 2026/27 he has a chance to move top of all three categories. It will be Winnipeg's 16th season since the move from Atlanta, the same number of seasons the original franchise spent in the city.
