Bruce Cassidy Joins Team Canada Women's Staff
Former Golden Knights coach Bruce Cassidy becomes special advisor to Team Canada's women's program, assisting GM Cory Cheveldayoff.
Michael Hirshfeld and Manon Rheaume have been named assistant general managers as part of the same restructuring.
Cassidy left the Vegas Golden Knights as head coach earlier this year but continues to draw a salary from the club under the terms of his contract. Until 30 June 2027 he is required to obtain the Golden Knights' permission before discussing a move to any other NHL club.
