Dubas: No Pressure in Crosby Contract Talks
Penguins GM Kyle Dubas says talks with captain Sidney Crosby, whose deal runs through 2027, remain open with no deadline pressure on either side.
Pittsburgh general manager Kyle Dubas has given his clearest account yet of where contract talks with Sidney Crosby stand, with the captain's current deal running through 30 June 2027.
Crosby, 39, is in the final stretch of a deal worth $8.7m a season. Last regular season he played 68 games for Pittsburgh and produced 74 points (29 goals, 45 assists), adding 1+4 in six playoff games.
