Martin St. Louis: I want to win the Cup for my father
Canadiens coach Martin St. Louis says his 75-year-old father, who once watched games through a shop window as a boy, is his biggest motivation this season.
Martin St. Louis has named the person on his mind as Montreal chase the Stanley Cup this season: his father.
The Canadiens head coach said the memory dates back to his father's childhood in Mont-Laurier, where the family had no television. St. Louis said his father would watch Canadiens matches through the window of a shop that sold television sets, standing outside in the cold on his brother's shoulders.
His father is now 75.
