Pyotr Khokhryakov Joins Neftyanik in VHL
The 36-year-old forward leaves Salavat Yulaev after a quiet KHL season, dropping to the VHL as Ufa continues reshaping its struggling roster.
Pyotr Khokhryakov has signed with Neftyanik of the VHL until the end of the season, moving down a level after last season with Salavat Yulaev in the KHL.
The 36-year-old forward managed four points (0+4) in 37 regular-season games for Ufa in 2025/26, adding 10 appearances in the Gagarin Cup play-offs.
His KHL career now stands at 799 games including play-offs, with 186 points (87+99). He has also played for Neftekhimik, Avangard, Traktor and Amur, and won the Gagarin Cup with SKA in 2015.
Ufa have already parted with goalkeeper Ilya Konovalov this month after a 5:8 defeat to Barys. Khokhryakov's move to the VHL comes as Ufa continue to overhaul a struggling squad.
