About the player
He made his La Liga debut for Elche in August 2022, before his path took him elsewhere.
A free transfer took him to UD Alzira, and from there to Deportivo de La Coruña, where he split time between the Fabril reserve side and the first team. He scored nine times in 48 appearances during the 2024–2025 campaign, though his sole appearance for Deportivo's senior side remained a rare one.
In June 2025 he moved to Portugal on a free transfer, joining Torreense. The switch paid off quickly and dramatically: with Alfaro in the squad, Torreense went all the way to the final of the Taça de Portugal, where they beat Sporting CP 2–1 after extra time. The result gave the club its first-ever Portuguese Cup title and marked its first appearance in a final in 70 years.
Every move of Alfaro's senior career has come as a free transfer. He has yet to add international recognition to his résumé.
