Carl Adam Bergmark Wiberg

Adam Bergmark Wiberg arrives at IFK Göteborg on the back of a season that earned him the Superettan's Player of the Year award, a recognition built on ten goals and thirteen assists for Östers IF in 2024. Across three seasons at Östers he scored 31 goals in 73 matches, topped the division's assist charts with 13 in 2022 as the team reached the promotion playoffs, and followed it with 14 goals in 2023 in another playoff push.

Before settling at Östers, Bergmark Wiberg had already been loaned out twice by Djurgårdens IF, who signed him on a free transfer in January 2019. At Örgryte IS in 2020 he scored 8 goals in 29 games, and at Falkenbergs FF in 2021 he added 7 in 29 appearances, loan spells that kept him playing regularly while out of the Djurgården first team. His path into senior football started at Täby FK, from where he moved to Gefle IF, scoring 10 goals in 49 matches over two seasons.

In January 2025 he left Sweden altogether for South Korea, joining Chungnam Asan FC as a free agent and scoring four goals in 16 matches before his free transfer to IFK Göteborg in February 2026 on a contract running to June 2029. At international level, he has represented Sweden's under-21 side, scoring twice on his debut for the age group.
