About the player
Assane Seck moved through Italian football's development system before ever making a senior breakthrough. Born in Dakar, he came up through Delfino Pescara's youth ranks and then joined Pisa in July 2021, where he made his professional debut that November, scoring in Serie B. Rather than settling at one club, he spent the following seasons out on loan — first to Fiorentina's Primavera side with a buyout clause attached, then to Empoli's Primavera with an option to buy, and finally to Fiorenzuola, where he scored once in 18 Serie C appearances. His contract with Pisa was terminated by mutual consent in August 2024, closing that chapter without him having established himself in the first team.
The turning point came in Finland. Signed by KTP on a free transfer in December 2024, Seck finished the 2025 Veikkausliiga season as the club's top scorer with six goals. He has scored twice for the club in the Ukrainian Premier League as of June 2026.
