Airton Moraes Michellon

Airton came through the Juventude academy and reached the first team in time to play in the 2013 Campeonato Gaúcho final, which the club lost to Internacional on penalties. He went on to make 35 league appearances for Juventude before a move to Red Bull Salzburg in 2015 took him to Austria. There he spent a season on loan at FC Liefering before returning to the parent club, where he won the Austrian Bundesliga title and later the Austrian Cup, though his exact involvement in that cup final squad is unclear. Playing time in Salzburg's first team was scarce, and after a loan spell at Red Bull Brasil and a brief stint at Oeste, he went back to Brazil for good in 2019.

His career found its shape at América Mineiro, where he became first-choice goalkeeper and made 44 league appearances between 2019 and 2022, helping the club win promotion to Série A in 2020. At Chapecoense in 2023 he was the undisputed starter, making 45 appearances across all competitions as the team avoided relegation from Série B, finishing 16th. He then joined Grêmio Novorizontino, where he held the starting jersey for two full seasons, playing 43 league matches in 2024 and 33 in 2025 as the club finished fifth in Série B in the first of those campaigns.

A move to Vila Nova in late 2025 did not go to plan: after ten appearances early in 2026, individual errors cost him his place to Dalberson, and his contract was ended by mutual agreement that February. The parting was described as amicable, if unexpected from the player's side. Within the same month he signed for Criciúma on a free transfer for the rest of the Série B season, reuniting with Eduardo Baptista, his former coach at Novorizontino. He has made 12 league appearances since arriving at the club.
