Barry Thomas Crowe

Barry Crowe, who has also played under the name Barry Baggley, grew up in the Turf Lodge area of West Belfast and came through the youth academy at Fleetwood Town, signing his first professional contract there in 2018. He went on to make senior appearances for the English club in League One and the EFL Trophy before two loan spells reshaped his career: first at Altrincham in the National League, then, from January 2023, at Waterford United in Ireland.

It was at Waterford that Crowe made his name. He made 30 League of Ireland First Division appearances in the 2023 campaign, scoring two goals and setting up 12 more, form that won him the club's Supporters Club Player of the Month award for June and July 2023. He was made captain in 2024 and was instrumental as Waterford won that year's First Division Play-Off Final in November 2023 to secure promotion.

Those performances led St Patrick's Athletic to sign him permanently in December 2024, on a long-term contract following the end of his loan spell, and he made his debut for the club in the 2025 season.

Crowe has represented Northern Ireland at every youth level, from eight caps at U17 through a single U19 appearance to seven caps and a goal for the U21s between 2021 and 2024. He was also called into a senior training squad in 2022.
