Christoph Lang

Lang's first appearance in senior football for SK Sturm Graz came in the Austrian Cup on 17 July 2021, against ATSV Stadl-Paura. He scored in a 9–0 win — the largest margin of victory the club had recorded in the competition.

He had joined the Sturm academy in 2011, after two years at SV SW Lieboch. The route to the first team ran through Sturm Graz II, where between 2020 and 2022 he made 43 appearances in the Regionalliga Central and the 2. Liga and scored 24 goals. That return did not carry over: he made 12 league appearances for the senior side and scored once.

Two loans followed. At SV Ried from January 2023 he played 15 league matches and scored three; at TSV Hartberg across 2023–24 he played 17 and scored five. In January 2024 he moved to SK Rapid Wien for a fee reported at close to €1 million, and in a year there made 30 appearances in all competitions, scoring four.

He left Rapid in February 2025 and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at LASK Linz on 6 February. His debut, on 23 February, came against Rapid. By August 2026 he had 10 goals from 45 league appearances for the club, and in 2025–26 he was part of the squad that won both the Austrian Bundesliga and the Austrian Cup.

Lang played 15 times for Austria at under-21 level between 2022 and 2024, scoring four goals. He is an attacking midfielder who also plays as a forward.
