Xavier Tshimanga Kamaluba Ntite Muken

He was 16 when MVV Maastricht sent him on in November 2018, and no one younger has played for the club. Eleven appearances in the Eerste Divisie followed that season, enough for Barcelona to take him to La Masia the following August. He played in the U19 side there, but never for the senior team.

The move to Chelsea in August 2020 put him in the development squad, where a torn meniscus cost him time. He came back to play for the U23s. A senior debut never arrived at Stamford Bridge either, and in September 2022 he signed a three-year deal at FC Volendam.

That is where the career took shape. Mbuyamba became a fixture in the side and was given the captaincy for the 2023–24 season. Across his time at the club he made 87 league appearances and scored 11 goals.

Volendam still had six months on his contract when LASK Linz came for him. The transfer went through on 21 January 2026 for an undisclosed fee, with a contract running to 30 June 2028. Both clubs confirmed the deal.

He grew up in Maastricht, starting at the amateur sides VV de Heeg and VV Scharn before the MVV academy took him on in 2012. His one international appearance came for the Netherlands U19 in a friendly against Mexico in November 2019. He is eligible for DR Congo through his father, and has yet to play a senior international.
