Callum Luke O'Hare

Callum O'Hare came up through Aston Villa's academy from the age of seven, signed his first professional contract in 2015 and made his senior debut in 2017 before Villa let him go in June 2020. Two loan spells shaped that final Villa season: a short stint at Carlisle United, then a longer one at Coventry City. Rather than return to Villa, he made the move permanent that summer on a free transfer.

Coventry became the club where O'Hare did his best work. He stayed four years, was voted the Players' Player of the Season, and was still there when the team lifted the EFL Championship play-offs in 2024–25. He turned down a new contract and departed in June 2024.

He joined Sheffield United that July on a free transfer. He was named the club's Player of the Year for his first season, 2024–25. Across his time at Bramall Lane he made around 91 league appearances and scored between 10 and 12 goals before a £7 million move to Wrexham, on a three-year deal with a fourth-year option.

O'Hare has Irish heritage and has drawn interest from the Republic of Ireland, but his international experience so far amounts to a single England Under-20 cap, earned in 2017.
