Sydie Peck

Sydie Peck came through Arsenal's academy before leaving for Sheffield United's youth setup in the summer of 2021, turning professional there a year later. A loan spell at Oldham Athletic followed in November 2022, where he made nine appearances before Sheffield United recalled him that January.

Peck made his senior debut for Sheffield United in the Premier League against Brentford in December 2023, and the club rewarded his progress with a new four-year contract the following August. He has since become a regular starter in midfield through the 2024–25 and 2025–26 Championship campaigns, passing 90 senior appearances for the club. His first goal did not arrive until November 2025, in a 3–0 win over Portsmouth. He was also named FutMob's Player of the Match against Wrexham in an EFL Cup tie during the 2024–25 season.

Peck's rise has been mirrored at international level. After two caps for England's under-17s in 2022, he stepped up to the under-20s, where he scored once and set up three more in a 4–0 win over Germany in November 2024. He moved into the under-21 setup in September 2025, making his debut as a substitute in a 2–0 victory over Kazakhstan, and has continued to add caps at that level. A senior England call-up has not yet followed.
