About the player
Evgeni Zamerets was born in Tashkent and moved to Sevastopol at the age of eleven. 3 in Sevastopol, playing more than fifty matches for the amateur side before signing his first professional contract with FC Sevastopol in 2018.
He signed for Chayka on a free transfer in 2022 and spent a season in the Second League before leaving by mutual consent, then joined Ocean Kerch in 2024, making 11 appearances in the Crimean Premier League.
In September 2025, in the fourth round of the Russian Cup against Spartak Kostroma, Zamerets saved penalties in the shootout and was named Best Player of the Match, receiving a symbolic steering wheel from the club as his award.
Zamerets has no senior caps for Russia. Every move of his career so far — from Sevastopol onward — has come as a free transfer or a mutual termination, without a fee changing hands.
