About the player
Gora Diouf started out at Étoile Lusitana in Senegal, where he helped the club reach the final of the 2022 Senegal FA Cup, a match they lost to Casa Sports. That run was enough to earn him a move abroad: in August 2022 he joined Swiss club FC Sion for an undisclosed fee. He spent his first months with the reserves before making his senior debut in April 2023.
Diouf's time at Sion peaked in the 2023–24 season, when the club won the Swiss Challenge League and secured promotion to the Swiss Super League. His contract in Valais ran out on 30 June 2025, and the following day he signed for KV Mechelen on a free transfer, agreeing a deal that runs until 2028.
At international level, he has represented Senegal at Under-20 level, with two caps to his name as of July 2025.
