About the player
Jakob Kiilerich came up through the youth ranks at AC Horsens before moving into senior football with Kolding IF, where he stayed for five seasons and won the Danmarksserien, Denmark's third tier, in 2023.
A loan to Sweden in March 2024 turned into a permanent move: after 16 appearances and two goals for Mjällby AIF, the Swedish club made the deal permanent that September, effective from the start of 2025. Mjällby finished fifth in Allsvenskan during his time there.
In August 2025, Kiilerich left on a free transfer for Zulte Waregem, signing a contract that runs until June 2027. At 190cm and left-footed, he now wears the number 5 shirt in Belgium.
He has represented Denmark at U19 level but has not been capped by the senior national side.
