About the player
Jakob Tånnander's path to Farense ran through three countries before he found regular football. He came through Dalby GIF and Lunds BK before joining Malmö FF, but never made a senior appearance for the Swedish club, instead spending three seasons out on loan at Högaborgs BK, Österlen FF and back at Lunds BK.
It was at IK Sirius, from 2023, that Tånnander first became a fixture between the posts, making 41 league appearances across two seasons. He moved on again in August 2025, this time to Portugal and SC Farense, once more on a free transfer.
