About the player
Yamamoto is a Tokyo Verdy academy graduate, having come through the club's junior and youth ranks after starting out at Tsukui Chuo FC. He moved into the first-team picture in 2024 and marked his professional debut in style, scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 J.League Cup victory over Kagoshima United FC in April that year.
