Kaleigh Nicole Kurtz

When she left the Courage in November 2025 as a free agent, she departed with 132 appearances and five goals, but the number that defines her spell there is the run of 107 consecutive starts, set in September 2025 against Utah Royals, and a streak of more than 10,000 consecutive minutes that began on 26 June 2021 and kept going into the 2026 season, reaching 11,662 minutes by August of that year. She also holds the record for the most consecutive "Iron Woman" seasons, covering 2022 through 2025. On 13 November 2025 she signed a three-year contract with Denver Summit FC, running through 2028.

Her path to that reliability started at the University of South Carolina, after a single season at Richmond. In three years with the Gamecocks she made 69 appearances and scored twice, and in 2016 she was named SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a First Team NSCAA All-American. She turned professional with Östersunds DFF in August 2017 before signing with the Courage the following March, and used NWSL offseasons to play for Canberra United in Australia, where she was named Player of the Year for the 2019–2020 campaign.

With North Carolina she won the NWSL Championship in 2018 and 2019, the NWSL Shield in both of those years, the NWSL Challenge Cup in 2022 and 2023, and the Women's International Champions Cup in 2018. She was named to the NWSL Best XI First Team in 2024 after a Second Team selection in 2023, and she scored a 90th-minute equaliser against the Kansas City Current in April 2025.
