Lazar Romanić

Lazar Romanić came through the Red Star Belgrade academy, signing his first professional contract with the club in October 2016, but a senior league appearance for the Belgrade giants never materialised. Loan spells told the story instead: six games and a goal at OFK Beograd, then eighteen appearances without scoring at Borac Čačak. In August 2018 he left for Greece on a free transfer, with Red Star keeping a 30% resale clause attached to his name.

PAS Lamia became the making of him. Over five seasons he made 105 league appearances and scored six goals, 124 and ten across all competitions, establishing himself as a regular in Greek football before returning home in 2023. At Železničar Pančevo he had his best individual campaign, scoring 19 goals in 56 league matches during the 2023–24 season and being named the club's best player.

That form carried him to Vojvodina in January 2025, in a move reported between €500,000 and €600,000. He made an immediate impact, scoring five goals in 17 league appearances in his first half-season and being named Player of the Round for round 30 of the Serbian SuperLiga after a goal and an assist in a 3–1 away win over Mladost Lučani.

The performances brought a move to Japan. In August 2025, Kawasaki Frontale signed him for a reported €1,500,000, with bonuses potentially raising the fee to €1,800,000. He has since made 27 appearances and scored four goals for the club, which finished seventh in the 2025 J1 League and were runners-up in the 2024–25 AFC Champions League Elite.
