About the player
Sanca was born in Lisbon and joined S.C. Braga 's academy in 2018, signing his first professional contract there in 2020. His senior debut came at Braga B, followed by two appearances for the first team, but it was a loan to Académica that gave him his first real run of games, 29 appearances and two goals in 2020–21.
That form took him to Italy, where Spezia Calcio paid €580,000 for him in August 2021. He returned to Spezia in June 2023 and moved on again that August, this time to G.D. Chaves, where over two seasons he made 49 appearances and scored once.
In July 2025 Sanca signed for Piast Gliwice on an undisclosed fee, agreeing a two-year contract with the option of an extension. He scored three goals and setting up two more in around 17 league appearances during the 2025–26 season. Across all competitions for the Polish club he has scored six goals in 39 matches.
