About the player
He started out at Hornbæk SF before moving through Randers Freja into the Randers academy. Pedersen signed his first youth contract on his 15th birthday, and by April 2023 he had been permanently promoted to the first-team squad.
His senior debut came in August 2024, in a Superliga defeat to Sønderjyske in which he wore the number 50 shirt. He has since settled on number 8. Over his debut league season he made 17 appearances, chipping in with one assist. He started as Randers beat OB 2-1 and was named to the round's Team of the Round by both TV 2 and bold.dk. In October 2024, he had also scored the winning goal against OB in the Future Cup.
Randers moved to secure his future in December 2024, tying him to a contract running until the end of 2027. At youth international level, Pedersen has represented Denmark at both under-17 and under-19 level, including starts at the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in June 2025, where Denmark lost their group games against Spain and Romania.
