About the player
Leonardo de Oliveira came up through FC Porto's academy before leaving for Padroense in 2020, then spent four years at FC Famalicão, where he worked through the club's Liga Revelação and Campeonato Nacional U19 sides. His numbers at that level stood out: in the 2021-22 season he scored 19 goals in 18 matches for Famalicão's under-17s. That development eventually earned him a single senior appearance for Famalicão in Liga Portugal during the 2024-25 season.
Born in Porto, de Oliveira has represented Portugal at under-17 level, but he was also called up to Sweden's under-17 squad for the 2022 European Championship, leaving him with a choice still open between the two national teams at senior level.
On 1 July 2025 he moved to SC Farense as a free agent. At 190cm and right-footed, he offers a physical profile up front, and he now wears the number 19 shirt for Farense.
