About the player
The move to Slovácko came on a free transfer, racking up more than 390 appearances across all competitions and becoming one of the club's most capped players.
The high point of his time there came in the 2021/2022 season, when he won the Czech Cup with Slovácko, playing in the final against Sparta Prague. He finished the 2023/2024 Chance Liga campaign as joint top scorer with 12 goals, level with Lukáš Haraslín.
His international career has so far amounted to a single cap. Havlík made his debut for the Czech Republic on 7 September 2020 against Scotland in the UEFA Nations League, called into the squad during a period when coronavirus cases had disrupted the national team's plans. He played 80 minutes in Olomouc as the Czechs lost 2–1, and has not added to that appearance since. Earlier, as a young player, he had represented the Czech Republic at the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
A left-footed midfielder, Havlík has featured mainly as a central or attacking midfielder for Slovácko, though he has also been used on the wing.
