Miguel José Oliveira Silva Santos

Miguel Santos began his career in the youth ranks at Benfica, playing for Benfica B between 2013 and 2016 before leaving Portugal for the first time. In August 2016 he joined Port Vale in England, initially on what was reported as a loan before a two-year contract followed, though the move was cut short by mutual consent in January 2017. He then moved to the Netherlands to sign for Fortuna Sittard, and the following season saw him make 24 league appearances as the club finished as Eerste Divisie runners-up and won promotion to the Eredivisie.

A switch to Romania followed in August 2018, when Astra Giurgiu signed him on a free transfer. He reached the final of the Cupa României with the club in 2018–19, though as an unused substitute, and spent the 2019–2020 season on loan at Academica Clinceni. October 2020 took him back to the Netherlands with Roda JC Kerkrade, before a return to Portuguese football in July 2021 with Mafra, followed by a year at Trofense.

In July 2023 he signed for Olympiakos Nicosia in Cyprus, where he again played a part in a promotion campaign as the club moved up to the Cypriot First Division. A year at Anadia followed, before he joined FF Jaro in Finland in February 2025 on a free transfer, making 26 Veikkausliiga appearances. In January 2026 he signed for AC Oulu on a free transfer, agreeing a contract that runs to the end of the 2027 season.
