About the player
Olle Werner came through Varbergs BoIS's own academy after arriving as a teenager from Lilla Träslövs FF in 2021, and he kept working his way up through the club's youth ranks, playing for the Varbergs BoIS U19 side through 2024. That December he was rewarded with a first-team A-contract running into 2026.
Rather than being thrown straight into Superettan football, Werner spent the 2025 season out on loan at Tvååkers IF in Sweden's fourth tier, a spell that ran from April to the end of November. It gave him regular minutes: 16 league appearances and three goals.
He returned to Varbergs BoIS in January 2026 and has since been handed a starting role, appearing seven times in Superettan this season and scoring once in 149 minutes on the pitch. He has also featured in the Svenska Cupen for the club, with a goal to his name across his cup appearances there.
Werner is right-footed and, at 185 cm, offers a physical presence up front. He has yet to be capped by Sweden at any level, senior or youth.
