Piotr Parzyszek

Piotr Parzyszek's road to professional football ran through the Netherlands rather than his native Poland: he moved there at the age of five and came up through Eldenia, Vitesse's academy, ESA Rijkerswoerd and finally De Graafschap, breaking into that club's senior side in 2012. Two years later Charlton Athletic paid around €500,000 for the forward, though his time in south London was defined largely by loan spells — at Sint-Truiden, where he scored 11 or 12 goals in around 31 appearances, and at Randers, a move cut short in February 2016. He went back to De Graafschap that year, and in the 2016–17 Eerste Divisie season he finished as runner-up in the division's scoring charts with 25 goals. From there Parzyszek's career took him through PEC Zwolle and, on a free transfer in 2018, to Piast Gliwice, with whom he won the Ekstraklasa title in 2018–19. A €500,000 move to Frosinone followed in September 2020. Spells at CD Leganés, where his contract was terminated by mutual consent after nine league appearances, FC Emmen and RWD Molenbeek have since taken him across three more leagues. Parzyszek is an ambidextrous striker, comfortable finishing with either foot, and has represented Poland at under-18, under-20 and under-21 level, though a senior cap has so far eluded him. He now continues his career at KuPS.
