About the player
Ryuki Osa was still a high school player when he first drew attention at Shohei High School in Saitama, where he helped the side reach the quarterfinals of the National High School Soccer Tournament in his first year.
Osa joined Kawasaki Frontale's senior squad as an academy graduate, moving up without a transfer fee attached. His professional debut came on 22 August 2026 in a J1 League match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima that finished 1-1, when he came on as a substitute and played 31 minutes.
He has also featured for Japan at youth international level. He was subsequently included in Japan's squad for AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualification and for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, and has scored for the U-20 team during qualifying as well.
