About the player
Trabzonspor sent him on loan to 1461 Trabzon for the 2018–2019 season, and the defender made 29 appearances in the TFF Third League before returning to sign his first professional contract with the club, where he made his debut in 2019.
He was part of the Trabzonspor squad that won the Süper Lig title in the 2021–22 season, making 10 league appearances and starting three matches. He also collected a Turkish Cup winner's medal with Trabzonspor in 2019–20 and lifted the Turkish Super Cup twice, in 2020 and 2022. Asan was capped three times by the Turkey U21 national team in 2020.
A further loan spell took him to Pendikspor for the 2023–24 season, where he made 22 appearances in the Süper Lig. In February 2025 he moved on loan again, this time to Iğdır FK. His contract with Trabzonspor was mutually terminated that May, and in July 2025 he signed a permanent deal with Iğdır FK, running to June 2027.
