About the player
Tiago Ventura's move to Felgueiras 1932 followed a breakthrough season. Born in Gondomar, the forward came up through Gondomar SC, Colégio de Ermesinde and Sousense before Vizela took him into its youth ranks, promoting him to the first team in 2021. His senior debut came in the Taça de Portugal against Porto, a match Vizela lost 1-3, and he left the club a year later having made just that single appearance.
A free transfer took him to Rebordosa, where he made 27 appearances and scored three goals. A further move to Amarante FC saw him finish as the club's top scorer as they won the Liga 3 title and secured promotion to Liga Portugal 2. The individual recognition matched the team success — Ventura was named Liga 3's Revelation Player and included in the division's Team of the Year.
That form persuaded Felgueiras 1932 to sign him on a free transfer, with Portuguese media describing the arrival as a significant reinforcement for the club. He scored in a 1-1 draw against AVS SAD in Liga Portugal 2 among his opening appearances for the side.
