Achenheim Truchtersheim Women

Strasbourg Achenheim Truchtersheim has taken the French National 1 title twice, in 2013 and 2018, and in 2023 came within a place of a third promotion, finishing runners-up in Division 2 and earning a return to the top-tier Ligue Butagaz Énergie.

The club plays under black and white and is known locally as Les Piraths, a name pulled from the Alsatian dialect for the Kochersberg. Home matches split between the Centre sportif du Kochersberg, seating 750, and Rhénus Sport in Strasbourg, which holds 5,609.

Laura Flippes spent eight seasons here, from 2005 to 2013, before leaving for Metz and Paris 92 and a regular place in the France squad. Metz remains the club's principal rival, and the fixture between them is known as the Derby du Grand Est.

The club was formed on 4 June 2008, when Truchtersheim HCL merged with FSE Achenheim. The latter had already won the same N1F championship once, in 2002, six years before the merger that created the club now playing at Rhénus Sport.
