Dungannon Swifts

Dungannon Swifts go into this season carrying the weight of an Irish Cup win from May, when they lifted the trophy for the first time in the club's history. The 2025 NIFL Charity Shield followed within weeks, giving the club two pieces of silverware inside a single summer after decades without a major honour.

Stangmore Park holds around 2,000, with 300 seated, and it is where the club has built most of its identity — not through scale but through the Mid-Ulster derby played there against Glenavon, a fixture that draws more from the fixture list than league position ever does. Eleven Mid-Ulster Cup wins stretch back to 1971, the most recent arriving alongside the Irish Cup in the same 2024–25 campaign, a season that will stand apart from the rest of the club's record.

Before this year, the honours board leaned on smaller pieces: the Northern Ireland Football League Cup in 2018, the First Division title and Ulster Cup double in 2003. None carried the weight of a first Irish Cup, and none changed how the club was spoken about in the way this season has.

The Swifts wear royal blue with white trim at home, yellow with blue away, colours that have marked the club since it was formed in 1949.
