Samara-2 ended Enisey-2's season in the quarterfinals of the 2023/24 Higher League, a defeat that stung more for coming straight after a title. A year earlier, in a Final Four staged in Krasnoyarsk, Enisey-2's women had beaten both Nadezhda-2 and Yunost to take the trophy despite finishing only third in the regular season.

The club exists to feed players into BC Enisey rather than to build a history apart from it. Anton Nestorenko and Georgy Lachev moved up into the first team in the 2013/2014 season, and Sergei Mitusov, another graduate of the Krasnoyarsk basketball school, stayed with the senior side until 2022. Dmitri Ivanov left a different kind of mark: by 2022 he had scored 1,992 points in the VTB Youth League, more than anyone else in the competition's history.

The team first showed up in the Superliga Division B in 2004, facing sides such as Irkutsk's Zenit, and later took a regular place in the VTB Youth League from the 2013/2014 season, opening that account against Khimki-2 in October 2014. The men's group has since worked its way through regional cups such as the Cup of Siberia and the Far East without adding a national title of its own. Matches are played in Block B of Arena Sever, a Krasnoyarsk hall holding up to 4,000, in the club's blue and white.

The women's side arrived at the 2026 Championship of the Siberian Federal District unbeaten, winning all three games by a combined margin of 170 points to sit on top of the region again after the 2023 Higher League crown.
