Felixstowe & Walton Utd

In May 2025, Felixstowe & Walton United lifted the Suffolk Premier Cup, the first piece of silverware won under the name the club has carried since a merger reshaped local football at the start of the century. Before that, Felixstowe had its own history stretching back to 1890, and its neighbour across the town, Walton United, had been playing since 1895; in 2000 the two sides became one club and inherited Felixstowe Town's place in the Eastern Counties League Premier Division.

The merger is why the Suffolk Senior Cup and the Suffolk & Ipswich League titles listed among the club's honours belong to predecessors rather than to Felixstowe & Walton United itself — the silverware from 1911 through 1999 was won under the old names, before the two clubs shared a badge.

Known as The Seasiders, a nod to the town's position on the Suffolk coast, the club plays in red shirts with white pinstripes and black trim. Its ground at Martello Ground holds 2,160, a mix of covered seating, covered terracing and open hardstanding. The fixture that draws the most attention locally is against Ipswich Wanderers, played out as the "A14 derby" along the road connecting the two towns.

Two decades on from the merger, the club's most meaningful trophy is still the one that came under its own, combined name.
