Korhogo

The Stade Amadou Gon Coulibaly seats 20,000, and it is where Club Omnisports de Korhogo has made its home in the north of Côte d'Ivoire, still known locally as the Stade Municipal.

The club has worn yellow and red since 1986, a colour scheme that gave rise to its nickname, "the Yellow and Reds of Poro," after the region rather than the town alone. Bakary Ouattara ran the club for thirty-seven years before handing over to Malick Tohé in April 2024, a change of leadership after nearly four decades under one man.

COK's return to the top flight followed a runner-up finish in Ligue 2 in the 2020/21 season, secured with the signings of Brou Manassé, Danté and Dacoury. Sylvain Gbohouo joined the goalkeeping staff in 2025, adding experience to a squad still finding its feet in Ligue 1.

Forty years after it was founded, the club won its first major trophy in 2026, taking the Coupe de Côte d'Ivoire past SOA 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in the final. The result gave extra weight to the Derby du Nord against US Tchologo, the fixture by which Korhogo measures itself, and sent the celebrations back to the Stade Amadou Gon Coulibaly, where the club has waited longest for a night like it.
