Landskrona BoIS

BoIS came together on 7 February 1915, when IFK Landskrona merged with Landskrona BK, itself formerly known as Diana BK. Bror Nilsson, who had chaired Diana BK, took over the combined club and stayed in charge into the late 1940s. The name BoIS, pronounced "boys", only became common in the local press around 1926.

The club played at a ground called Banan until 1924, when it opened what is now Landskrona IP, sometimes still called Karlsunds IP. That new stadium got the club into the first-ever Allsvenskan season the same year. It has been rebuilt more than once since — the running track came out and a permanent concrete stand went up on the west side in 2003 — and today holds between 10,000 and 12,000 depending on how the temporary stands are set. The team has its own nickname, Di Randige, "the Striped Ones".

Landskrona's one major trophy came in the 1971-72 Svenska Cupen, beaten finalists in 1949 against AIK but winners this time over Hammarby. Silver in 1937-38 and bronze twice in the 1970s round out the honours. Harry Dahl, known as Hacke, remains the name attached to the goalscoring record — 334 in 410 appearances between 1922 and 1932. Henrik Larsson took charge of the club for two years from 2010.
