Åsane Arena

The multi-purpose hall, seating 2,000, opened on 19 August 2020. Completion of the rest had been set for May 2021, but a cold winter, the pandemic and the contractor's bankruptcy pushed it to late summer. The stadium was formally opened on 29 September 2021, when Åsane Fotball beat Sogndal 1-0 in front of 1,659 spectators.

The project began with Rexir Holding, which set up Åsane Arena AS; from 2015 the philanthropist Trond Mohn financed construction through Arena Nord AS, at a total cost of roughly 700-750 million kroner. Sørli Arkitekter drew the design. The complex carried the name Arena Nord until 5 August 2020, when Arena Nord AS handed the rights to the name Åsane Arena to Rexir Holding at no charge.

On 3 September 2021 Åsane hosted league leaders SK Brann in the OBOS-ligaen and lost 2-0 with the stands full. In October 2021 the climbing wall, Vestveggen , was named Årets idrettsanlegg 2021 by the Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee. The pitch was relaid over the summer break of 2026, the old turf stripped and the granulate removed.
