CN Honra (Portugal) 2025/26

The Campeonato Nacional de Rugby Divisão de Honra is the top-tier men's rugby union competition in Portugal. Organised by the Federação Portuguesa de Rugby (FPR), it sits at the summit of the Portuguese rugby pyramid, directly above the I Divisão. The competition was established in 1958, following the creation of the national governing body the previous year. The season typically runs from September to March. Its format divides the twelve participating teams into four groups of three. Clubs play each other home and away within their respective groups. After the group stage, the top four teams enter a round-robin play-off to determine the champion, while the bottom four contest a relegation play-off. The last-placed team in the relegation play-off is relegated to the I Divisão, while the champion of that division is promoted. CDU Lisboa holds the record for the most titles, having won the competition twenty times. Other notable winners include GD Direito with twelve titles and SL Benfica and CF Belenenses with ten each each. As of the 2024-25 season, CF Belenenses are the reigning champions. The league is distinct from the Taça de Portugal, a separate knockout tournament. The winner of the league and the winner of the cup compete in the Supertaça de Portugal. The competition also serves as the primary talent pool for the Portuguese national team, "Os Lobos".
