B36 Torshavn and B68 played out a 1-1 draw in the Meistaradeildin's 21st round on Saturday. The result leaves the hosts fourth on 34 points while B68 sit 10th with 15 from 20 games. And here's the thing — both sides had their moments but neither could find a winner.
For the first hour the match was tight, with P. Mensah picking up a yellow card in the 21st minute. B68's J. Goronjic came off at half-time, and by then the game was settling into a rhythm neither team could quite break.
The second half brought a flurry of changes. G. Samuelsen and W. Rygaard were both substituted at 65 minutes, followed by H. Johansen and J. Gullfoss. H. Hojgaard and H. Agnarsson both went into the book before the goals.
L. Lespinasse stepped up for the penalty in the 83rd minute and made no mistake. B36 looked set to take all three points, but R. Samuelsen equalised two minutes from time. D. Andreasen was shown yellow in stoppage time as the game wound down.
B36 have kept their side in it with that point, moving to within four of the top four. B68's away form remains fragile — they've now gone five matches without a win on the road.
