Stadium
Gundadalur
Gundadalur is the home of the two clubs of the Faroese capital, B36 Tórshavn and HB Tórshavn .
Football was played on the site before the stadium existed. The first documented match, HB against TB Tvøroyri, took place on 18 July 1909. No architect is recorded for the original structure, which grew instead in stages, put up by the clubs themselves. In 1998 an artificial surface replaced the grass.
From the founding of Løgmanssteypið in 1955 until Tórsvøllur was built, Gundadalur held the cup finals. European nights continue: B36 met Beşiktaş here in 2018 and Borac Banja Luka in 2022, and HB faced Hajduk Split in 2024.
The ground has also been used for concerts — Bryan Adams played here on 4 June 2008.
