Oleksandriya beat Bratislav Vinnytsia 2-0 in the Round of 64 of the Cup on 21 August 2026. The away side took control after the break and saw it out to book their place in the next stage.
The first goal came in the 55th minute, followed quickly by D. Vashchenko's strike in the 56th. Oleksandriya added two more in the closing moments, O. Prytula scoring in the 86th minute to cap a decisive spell.
Bratislav Vinnytsia had come into the match in good shape, winning their previous three league games. They beat Niva Ternopil II 4-0, Vilykhvtsi 2-0 and Podillya Khmelnytskyi 3-2 before this cup tie.
Oleksandriya's run of form was even more impressive. They won four matches in a row, including 2-0 against Metall Kharkiv and 3-0 versus Inhulets. They had also drawn 1-1 with Niva Ternopil before losing 1-2 to Kolos Kovalivka.
The result means Oleksandriya advance while Bratislav Vinnytsia's cup campaign comes to an end. The away side showed enough composure to manage the game after taking their lead.
