Bratslav Vinnytsia

The team grew out of a children's football school, Bratslav Junior, which had been teaching boys in Vinnytsia since 2016. The school stopped work after Russia's full-scale invasion began in 2022. When it came back, it came back differently: as an adult side, registered in 2025 as a new legal entity with no line of descent from the club most of the city still thinks of first.

That first season was spent in the amateur championship, the fourth tier, where Bratslav finished sixth in a field of nine. It was enough. For 2026–27 the club was admitted to the Professional Football League and placed in Group A of the Second League.

Where it plays has been the awkward part. Home matches and training in the amateur season took place at Nyva's training base, the ground of the other Vinnytsia club, which carries on in the Second League itself. The first official match of the professional era was played at the Kolos stadium in Stavyshche, a long way from home. The plan is a move to the Podillia sports complex, with 6,800 seats.

The president, Yurii Maksymenko, played professionally and chairs the city football association; it was under him that the club won the tender to rebuild Vinnytsia's Central City Stadium. Yurii Hura took the team into the Second League, following Vasyl Blynnykov, who had it first.

There are no trophies, no settled home, and the reconstruction is a competition won rather than a stand built. What the club does not yet have is the thing the school was founded for in the first place: a ground in Vinnytsia to call its own.
